Role Overview

As a Junior Accountant, you'll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial information that helps drive key business decisions. You will be a leading figure in the implementation of a new ERP system. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Assist/lead with new ERP implementation.
  • Collate and analyse data and provide reports to production on performance.
  • Assist in stock control and cost accounting for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Collaborate with production and procurement team to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Help prepare for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 years experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Use of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (ideally Business Central).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Sage payroll) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
