Role Overview
As a sales ledger clerk / accounts assistant, youll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial information that helps drive key business decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales invoice processing
- Communicating with customers on any potential issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Customer account reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Liaising with other departments on any potential issues.
- Providing additional support as required across the finance team.
What Were Looking For
- 2 years experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Sage payroll) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
