Reporting To: Shift Manager

Location: Moygashel

Working Hours: 06.00am - 14.30pm

Job Purpose: To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across office areas and factory/production environments, ensuring a safe, tidy, and compliant workplace for employees, visitors, and audits. Please note this is a temporary, full-time position for 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general cleaning duties across office spaces, including:
    • Desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, and communal areas
    • Toilets and washroom facilities
    • Floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)
  • Clean factory/production areas in line with health and safety and hygiene standards:
    • Floors, walkways, and workstations
    • Machinery exteriors (where required and safe to do so)
    • Waste and recycling disposal
  • Replenish consumables e.g. soap, paper towels, and toilet roll
  • Follow cleaning schedules and task checklists to ensure all areas are maintained
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in accordance with training and COSHH regulations
  • Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times
  • Support deep cleaning activities during shutdowns or audits where required

Essential:

  • Previous cleaning experience (office, industrial, or factory environment preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Understanding of health and safety practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to carry out manual tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in both office and industrial settings

Knowledge

  • Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations
  • Basic understanding of hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP in food environments)

PPE will be provided where required, training will be delivered on-site, and flexibility may be needed to cover different shifts or work areas.
