Mackinnons Solicitors LLP are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Paralegal to join our thriving Conveyancing department based in Cults, Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied caseload within a supportive and well-established firm, assisting clients through all stages of residential property transactions. The role is full time and office based, although flexible working patterns may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, including dispositions, standard securities and missives.
  • Carrying out title searches and liaising with Registers of Scotland.
  • Coordinating with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
  • Handling post settlement tasks, including registrations and LBTT submissions.
  • Scanning incoming mail, photocopying, archiving/closing files.
  • Maintaining accurate files and case management records.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum experience of at least two years working as a Conveyancing Paralegal with relevant qualification.
  • Excellent expertise with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
  • Strong audio typing and document production skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
