A global provider of bag packaging and end-of-line automation solutions is seeking a Sales Manager to lead commercial growth across the UK market. This role will take ownership of a portfolio spanning automated bag filling systems, palletising, conveying, stretch hooding, bag closing technologies, and industrial sealing solutions. The position combines strategic CapEx solution selling with management of an established transactional product and aftermarket business. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and selling engineered automation solutions into industrial manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across the UK market
- Develop and manage a long-term pipeline of CapEx automation projects
- Maintain and grow an existing installed customer base
- Sell complete end-of-line and bag packaging solutions
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across multiple product lines
- Manage customer relationships across engineering, operations, and procurement teams
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full sales cycle
- Work closely with engineering, service, and inside sales teams
- Represent the business at customer sites and industry events
