We are seeking an experienced and motivated Resource Geologist to join our clients growing geological consultancy team. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise across a range of mining, exploration, due diligence, and resource evaluation projects for clients operating globally. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse commodities and deposit types, supporting projects from early-stage exploration through to feasibility studies, operational support, and independent technical reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Geological interpretation and development of 3D geological models.
- Mineral Resource estimation in accordance with recognised international reporting standards.
- Validation, management, and QA/QC review of geological, assay, and drilling datasets.
- Geostatistical analysis, variography, and block model development.
- Grade interpolation using appropriate estimation methods (e.g., Ordinary Kriging, IDW, MIK).
- Geological domaining and wireframing.
- Resource classification based on geological confidence and data quality.
- Technical reporting and preparation of compliant resource statements.
- Independent technical reviews, due diligence studies, and Competent Person support.
- Site visits for data verification, geological audits, and client meetings as required.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including mining engineers, metallurgists, and environmental specialists.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.
- MSc in Economic Geology, Mining Geology, or Geostatistics desirable.
- Strong understanding of mineral resource estimation principles.
- Experience with resource modelling software.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and geostatistics.
- Experience with database systems and data validation workflows.
- Knowledge of international mineral reporting codes.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
