Our client, a leading global OEM within the bakery processing equipment industry, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled design professional to contribute to the development, improvement, and modernisation of complex industrial equipment used within the bakery sector. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, service, and product teams to deliver high-quality design solutions that improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Role Overview: Reporting to the Engineering Manager / Product Line Manager, the Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating, updating, and developing mechanical drawing packages for a range of equipment projects. The role will involve supporting new product development, enhancing existing designs, and modernising legacy equipment to meet evolving customer and manufacturing requirements.
