We are working with a leading pre-clinical CRO specialising in neuroscience to hire a Scientist for their site in Sandwich, Kent.
About the Client: We are in collaboration with a global preclinical CRO specialising in Neuroscience research. The role is based in Sandwich, Kent. This lab-based role (on-site) will be to provide scientific and technical support for EEG research and services, working to maintain, expand and innovate EEG capabilities across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, executing and analysing EEG studies in rodents
- Support the development of new EEG methodologies, troubleshooting technical issues and implementing new approaches
- Run pharmaco-EEG studies in rodents
- Perform high-quality EEG data analysis
- Interpret and report results for internal and external stakeholders
- Train and validate staff in EEG research tools, technologies, and techniques
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for EEG hardware, software, and experimental setups
Qualifications:
- Degree in neuroscience, physiology, biomedical sciences or related field
- Postgraduate qualification is preferred
- Hands-on experience handling and dosing animals for EEG recording and analysis in preclinical models
- Familiarity of EEG hardware such as DSI, TaiNi and EMKA, as well as software platforms
