I am looking for a European-based Commercial candidate who has experience working directly at a chemical distribution company and has sold to the speciality chemical market in either CASE or F&F. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for engaging with qualifying leads, arranging face-to-face meetings and identifying business opportunities with our support.
- You are a networker, and your day-to-day activities will include making calls, sending emails, visiting your key business partners regularly and attending industry conferences and exhibitions.
- There is potential for this role to transition into a Business Manager role to which you will be responsible for a product portfolio and more.
What you bring:
- At least two years in outward-facing commercial roles in chemical distribution.
- Ability to travel, as this will become more frequent after the first few months.
- Professional English is essential in this role and an additional language such as French, Dutch, Spanish, Polish and Italian is advantageous.
