Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sustainable year-on-year revenue growth through strategic account development and new business acquisition.
  • Develop and strengthen distributor partnerships while identifying channel gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, technical, product management, legal, and marketing teams across EMEA and the US.
  • Conduct customer meetings via phone, email, MS Teams, conferences, and on-site visits.
  • Deliver strategic market analysis and identify emerging applications, customer segments, and growth areas.
  • Represent technical capabilities and communicate complex scientific solutions effectively to customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, feeding insights back into the business.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Master’s in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or similar.
  • ~5-10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within life sciences or diagnostics.
  • Strong network within diagnostic manufacturers, molecular diagnostics, or pharma R&D environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and commercial projects.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK&I and Nordics region.
  • Additional European languages would be beneficial.
