The Role & Responsibilities
This is an exciting Design Delivery Manager level role for my client and the opportunity to join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in within the Water, Wastewater and Engineering industries.
My client is looking for a highly motivated professional, who has a demonstrable career and experience on the oversight and delivery of Water/Wastewater projects at both engineering and design level.
Reporting into the Technical Director, the successful candidate will be aligned with the Project Manager and wider team to ensure the successful delivery of a wide portfolio of projects in the local region.
- As the Design Delivery Manager, you will the lead oversight of the full project lifecycle, from the initial inception through to project completion.
- Utilising internal and external partners and resources including sub-contractors, you will ensure that the wide range of multidisciplinary projects are completed on time and to standards, ensuring that designs are adhered too.
- Working closely with the Project Manager with the creation of documentation including financial budget reports, project reports and on-going design activities.
- Oversee all responsibilities for clear communication at all levels between different project levels including design, project engineering and procurement.
- Always ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, adhering to all relevant and necessary health & safety and environmental legislation.
- Liaising with the internal business development and client management staff to identify, support and pursue business development efforts to help secure future work, adding to the current pipeline of projects.
- Travel to both local sites and projects to oversee each project development throughout the lifecycle as needed.
RequirementsQualifications
- Educated with a Degree in Engineering or other related fields.
- Clean UK Driving License with the ability to travel between project sites as and when needed.
- Demonstrable experience in the successful project delivery of Water & Wastewater projects in the United Kingdom.
- Demonstrable experience of both onsite engineering and design engineering.
- Ability to clearly communicate with both internal and external partners.
