The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth across the UK market, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding the adoption of advanced AMR solutions. You will work closely with customers, system integrators, and internal technical teams to identify automation opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and deliver measurable operational improvements for end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth across the UK market
  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key customers, system integrators, and strategic partners
  • Drive new business development activities focused on AMR and warehouse automation solutions
  • Build and maintain structured account plans to support long‑term customer growth and retention
  • Engage with customers to understand operational challenges and position automation solutions that deliver measurable value
  • Coordinate closely with technical, product, engineering, and project delivery teams throughout the sales process
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information through CRM platforms
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and emerging customer requirements within warehouse automation and robotics
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, customer meetings, and trade shows across Europe

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling warehouse automation, AMR, AGV, robotics, or intralogistics solutions
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and delivering revenue growth within automation markets
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, fulfilment processes, and automation technologies
  • Experience working with system integrators, automation providers, robotics manufacturers, or related technology businesses
  • Established network within logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial automation sectors is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build business cases and communicate value at executive level
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on achieving results
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages would be advantageous
