Production Operative

Location: Inverurie, Aberdeenshire

Salary: £12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage) + Overtime Opportunities

Hours: Permanent, Full-time – 40 hours/week

Mackie’s of Scotland is an iconic, family-owned brand known for producing Scotland’s favourite ice cream and chocolate – all from our beautiful, sustainable farm in Aberdeenshire. We’re proud to generate twice as much renewable energy as we consume and are passionate about great products, great people, and our green agenda.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for Production Operatives to join our friendly and fast-paced production team.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working in our production and packaging facility
  • Operating semi-automated production lines
  • Monitoring efficiency and carrying out regular quality checks
  • Packing off finished goods and maintaining high standards
  • Ensuring smooth daily production with hands-on teamwork


Previous experience in food manufacturing is a bonus – but full training will be provided. A good level of physical fitness is important as the role involves manual handling and lifting.
