Part-time Interim Head of Finance

Our client, a scaling founder led multi-site healthcare business, is looking for a Fractional Head of Finance to support their business through a period of growth and investment on a 4 month contract.

The Role

• Produce weekly flash reporting and maintain cash flow forecasts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and allocate receipts against customer invoices.
• Manage sales invoice and receipt uploads, investigating and resolving reconciliation issues.
• Review and approve supplier payment runs.
• Support VAT submissions through transaction reviews and reconciliations.
• Coordinate payroll processing and post monthly payroll journals.
• Assist with month-end close, including P&L reporting and management accounts.
• Extract, manipulate and analyse financial data from Xero and Excel.
• Prepare board reporting and supporting financial commentary.
• Manage company expense platforms and employee spend.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis, commercial projects and site appraisals.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls and reporting.

The Successful Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• A proven Financial Controller or Head of Finance with experience working with founders in a scaling business
• Experience working in a multi-site healthcare setting
• Strong track record of owning financial reporting, planning, and commercial insight
• Hands‑on, commercially minded, and confident presenting at board level
