Accountant in Opleiding in Oxford

As the organisation continues to scale, they are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join their established finance team. The Financial Accountant will play an important role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across the business. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will contribute to statutory reporting, revenue accounting, audit, tax compliance and month-end activities, while also helping to improve processes and strengthen financial controls. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and financial reporting Support revenue accounting activities, including contract reviews and revenue calculations Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Contribute to month-end close and year-end audit processes Support UK and international tax compliance requirements Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and systems Provide financial support and insight to operational teams Support junior members of the finance team and contribute to wider finance projects ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant Post-qualified experience in financial accounting, financial reporting or audit Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience with IFRS Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audit processes Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems Good understanding of UK tax and financial reporting requirements Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
