Mackie Myers is an independent and award-winning finance and executive recruitment firm with offices in London, Oxbridge, and the USA. Since our launch in 2021, we have grown rapidly and profitably to a team of 25, with ambitious plans to double in size over the next three years. Considering the growth and diversification of the business so far, and as we enter the next phase of our scale up journey, we are seeking an exceptional Managing Director to accelerate the growth of our London business. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a high-growth firm where you will work closely with the founders to drive performance, culture and innovation. The role will be both hands-on and strategic:

  • Lead from the front: Build and grow your own client portfolio, setting the standard for excellence in business development and customer experience.
  • Inspire and develop: Manage, coach, and grow high-performing teams of varying levels of experience.
  • Shape the business: As a key member of the board, you’ll influence company-wide decisions and help steer our overall direction.

We are looking for a proven leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment:

  • A seasoned recruiter and people manager with experience leading teams of 15+
  • A strong track record in finance and/or executive search (interim or permanent)
  • Commercially astute, with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial flair
  • A natural leader who can energise, inspire, and elevate those around them
