Mackie Myers recruitment agency is recruiting for our 2026 Graduate and Placement Year intake. Mackie Myers is a fast-growing, independent recruitment partner operating across London, Oxford, Cambridge and Los Angeles. We work with high impact organisations across the Commercial and Not-For-Profit sectors, specialising in Finance, Operations and Executive-level talent.

Founded in 2021 by long-standing business partners Jenna Mackie and Owen Myers, the business has grown organically to 30 people, generating £8m+ in annual turnover and already placing us in the top 20% of UK recruitment firms by scale and sales. We are proud of what we have built, but we are even more excited about what’s next. Our ambition is bold, our growth plans are significant, and we are investing heavily in the next generation of talent to help shape the future of the business.

The Role

You will join either our London or Oxford office as part of a supportive, high-performing team and train to become a 360° Recruitment Consultant, owning the full recruitment lifecycle from day one.

Main Duties

  • Through a blend of structured training, hands-on experience and close mentorship, you will quickly develop commercial skills that many graduates don’t access for years, including:
  • Sales and business development
  • Talent sourcing and headhunting
  • Client and candidate relationship management
  • Negotiation, influencing and commercial decision-making
  • Building and running your own revenue-generating desk

As a scale-up business, progression is driven by performance, not time served. If you are ambitious, there is no ceiling on your career progression or earning potential.

The Successful Candidate

This opportunity is ideal for a graduate who wants real responsibility, real learning and real impact early in their career. You will likely:

  • Have a genuine interest in business and how organisations grow
  • Bring experience from a customer-facing or commercial role
  • Be confident communicating verbally and in writing
  • Be organised, detail-focused and comfortable using systems

Most importantly, you will be driven, resilient and proactive. Recruitment rewards those who work hard, think creatively and take ownership. We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to contribute ideas, challenge thinking and help shape a growing business. We will provide the training, support and mentorship; you bring the energy, curiosity and commitment.

What’s on offer?

  • Competitive basic salary + uncapped commission
  • Unlimited annual leave
  • 4-day working week in the office (Monday–Thursday)
  • Flexible benefits including private healthcare and Heka
  • Team incentives, rewards and regular social events
