The Role
As the Finance Systems Manager, and as a senior member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in the organisation’s financial operations. You will be responsible for establishing robust and effective system controls around financial transactions. You will also be the key driver for leading on ongoing and future enhancements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering the chart of account, P2P, management and financial monitoring and reporting
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with IT team and other suppliers
- Managing, mentoring and motivating the finance systems analysts
- Designing and delivering training to staff on the D365 accounting system
- Continuously reviewing the effectiveness of all interfaces into the D365 accounting system
- Managing the reconciliation for the accounting systems with other systems
- Supporting the annual interim and final audits delivery from a finance system perspective
The Successful Candidate
- Demonstrable experience of managing a D365 accounting system
- Significant experience implementing and maintaining a robust finance IT systems control environment
- Fully qualified or studying for a CCAB recognised accounting qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident and experienced role model with proven experience leading on a team
