Key Responsibilities:

  • Review files flagged for investigation by management.
  • Identify and monitor legitimate retentions, ensuring timely periodic reviews.
  • Investigate and return residual balances as needed.
  • Support Fee Earners and management in minimising and resolving residual balances efficiently.
  • Assist with closing and archiving old files.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a professional services company ideally law firm is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience clearing residual balances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Professional and detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Confident communicating at all levels.
