About the Client
Mackie Myers is recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner for an established multi-division business based in Reading. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, strengthen financial planning and provide commercial insight to support business performance.
The Role
You will partner with stakeholders across the business, helping them understand financial performance, assess opportunities and make informed decisions. Combining budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, you will translate financial information into clear recommendations and provide constructive challenge to support delivery against business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and commercial challenge.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for your business area, ensuring plans reflect business priorities.
- Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Develop management reporting and KPIs to support decision-making and accountability.
- Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate commercial opportunities.
- Support investment decisions and business cases, assessing financial returns and key assumptions.
- Present clear recommendations to senior leaders, helping translate analysis into action.
- Work with the wider finance team to improve reporting, data quality and planning processes.
