We're partnering with a large, complex consumer-facing organisation to recruit a Reconciliations Manager into a high-profile finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business undergoing significant transformation and process improvement activity.
Operating within a global shared services environment, this role sits within the Record-to-Report (R2R) function and will be responsible for driving reconciliation quality, financial control, governance and process improvement across a complex group structure. This is a high-profile position that combines day-to-day operational ownership with broader transformation initiatives, including the implementation and optimisation of reconciliation technology and best practice processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the end-to-end reconciliation strategy, managing internal controls, and ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead the end-to-end balance sheet reconciliation agenda, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance across the organisation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) and wider reconciliation processes.
- Manage complex, high-risk and aged reconciliations, investigating variances and driving timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Identify opportunities to automate, standardise and optimise reconciliation processes to improve efficiency and control.
- Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Financial Control, Shared Services, Transformation teams and external auditors.
- Support ongoing finance transformation projects focused on compliance, process improvement and operational excellence.
- Deliver KPI and SLA performance targets while ensuring strong financial integrity across the function.
- Coach, mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide clear reporting and insight into reconciliation risks, issues and remediation activities.
