- We're partnering with a large, complex consumer business to recruit an experienced
Intercompany Manager to join its high-performing Record-to-Report (RTR) function on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing intercompany accounting activity across multiple entities and international jurisdictions, whilst leading and developing a small team.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a sophisticated, fast-paced environment where intercompany transactions form a significant part of the overall finance operation.
- The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a team of two finance professionals responsible for intercompany accounting activities.
- Managing the end-to-end intercompany process across multiple entities, business units and international territories.
- Ensuring all intercompany balances are reconciled accurately and efficiently.
- Overseeing month-end close activities relating to intercompany transactions.
- Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation initiatives across the RTR function.
- Strengthen control frameworks, governance and compliance around intercompany accounting processes.
- Partnering closely with Treasury, Financial Control, Reporting and operational finance teams.
- Investigating and resolving complex intercompany discrepancies and accounting issues.
- Driving improvements to processes, controls and governance frameworks.
- Supporting finance transformation and system enhancement initiatives.
- Providing insight and analysis to senior stakeholders across the business.
About You We're looking for a technically strong accountant with previous intercompany experience gained within a large and complex organisation.
You will likely be
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Experienced in intercompany accounting within a multi-entity environment.
- Comfortable operating across international businesses and multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing finance teams.
- Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, balance sheet control and financial reporting.
- Experience working with large ERP systems, ideally Oracle Fusion.
- Strong technically with excellent reconciliation and balance sheet control knowledge.
- Hands-on and willing to get into the detail when required.
- An effective people manager with experience leading and developing small teams.
- A confident communicator who can build relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
