Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a rapidly growing organization within the supply chain automation space, seeking a Sales Engineer to support commercial growth across the UK market. This role will partner with the sales team to understand customer needs, design tailored warehouse automation solutions, and support the sales cycle from discovery through to technical validation and proposal development.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales team throughout the end-to-end sales process
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client requirements and challenges
- Design and present tailored warehouse automation solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, and presentations
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical workshops
- Work with internal teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment
- Support RFPs, RFIs, tender responses, and proof-of-concept activity
- Advise customers on warehouse operations and automation best practices
- Travel to client sites across the UK as required
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales, or similar technical client-facing role
- Strong understanding of warehouse automation including AMRs and AGVs
- Ability to present technical solutions clearly and confidently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel across the UK
