Mac Kenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a part-time Senior Bookkeeper for a fantastic local outsourcing company on the outskirts of Ipswich.

Supporting a varied portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for month-end reconciliations, preparing profit and loss reports, submitting VAT and CIS returns, and supporting transactional finance activities.

This role would suit an experienced finance professional seeking a flexible position of 20-25 hours per week within a collaborative and growing business.

Key tasks and responsibilities Prepare month-end reconciliations, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.

Produce profit and loss reports and other management information for clients.

Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns accurately and on time.

Support the processing and review of transactional finance activities, including sales and purchase ledger functions.

Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and client queries.

Provide month end reporting and other periodic financial reporting requirements.

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Support the implementation of efficient financial processes and controls.

Provide administrative and financial support on ad hoc projects as required.
