MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Interim Accountant, on a 7-month fixed term contract, to join a reputable business based in Hadleigh. As an Interim Accountant you will be confident in documenting processes and participating in subsequent process reviews to improve internal controls and efficiencies.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Apply hands on processing skills to access financial information directly from source systems.
- Produce analysis that evidences the accuracy and completeness of accounting accruals and financial accounting statements, including internal management accounts and statutory reports.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of core accounting and transaction cycles for an SME, including:
- Procurement to Pay
- Order to Cash
- Record to Reporting
- An up to date and fully reconciled sales ledger
- Accurate reporting and processing of client debit notes
- Correct treatment of retrospective discounts, overriders and sales support charges.
Qualifications and experience:
- Qualified accountant or QBE will be considered.
- Strong financial reporting and process documentation skills.
- Hands on approach to data, analysis and reconciliations.
- Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to prioritise.
- Confident, self-motivated and collaborative.
