We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Credit Control Manager to join our team in Colchester on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for a confident credit professional who can hit the ground running, manage a credit control function effectively, and support the business during a period of change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt
  • Oversee customer credit limits and perform regular credit risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Handle escalated or complex debt queries and disputes
  • Produce regular reporting on debtor days, aged debt, and cash flow
  • Review and improve credit control processes and policies where appropriate
  • Support month-end processes and provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required
