MacKenzie King are partnering with a well-established and growing business operating within a fast-paced commercial environment to recruit an experienced Commercial Finance Manager. This is a key leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy, support business growth, and play an active role in day-to-day financial operations.
As a Commercial Finance Manager you will work closely with the senior leadership team, provide financial direction across the business, support key commercial decisions, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure robust financial controls are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and long-term sustainability
- Oversee commercial finance and procurement activities, identifying opportunities to improve value and efficiency
- Deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and governance requirements
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision making
- Support wider business functions, including operational and commercial teams, with financial guidance and cost management
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance function, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, professional advisers and regulatory bodies
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a proven background in senior financial leadership
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence business performance
- Excellent financial planning, reporting and forecasting expertise
- A hands-on approach alongside strategic capability
- Board-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to translate financial information into clear commercial recommendations
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams
