MacKenzie King β Accountancy & Finance Recruitment are delighted to recruit a Management Accountant on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract for a well-respected organisation based in Ipswich.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role within the finance team, bringing strong experience across both transactional finance and month-end accounting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering timely and accurate management accounts.
- Ensure financial information shared within the business is accurate and reliable.
- Supporting with forecasting, budgeting and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies where necessary.
- Assist in year-end statutory audit preparations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Manage core system interfaces into the General Ledger.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required by management.
Key Skills & Attributes
- AAT Qualified, ideally working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Previous Management Accounts Experience
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends and provide recommendations.
- Excel experience, with Pivot Tables and V LOOKUPS
- Clear and concise communications skills.
