Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant

MacKenzie King are recruiting a Management Accountant to join a large, private equity backed business, based in Ipswich. As a Management Accountant you will be a key player in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end financial reporting processes. You will be deadline driven and take a hands-on approach in preparing monthly management information, analysing data and providing detailed insights for senior management. Leading the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies promptly and highlighting issues. Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Assist with the annual financial audit, preparing reconciliations and supporting documentation where required. Identify opportunities for streamlining month-end and enhancing data integrity. Provide training and support to your peers. Studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA Strong reporting skills – proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products especially Excel Have developed organisational and time management skills that enable you to prioritise conflicting demands.
