Global organisation seeking to secure a Senior TM1 Developer. This is a hands-on role. Will own & develop IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). The role will focus on enabling strategic Financial Planning & Performance reporting. Will lead the design, development & continuous improvement of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
Role:
- Partner with Finance, FP&A and Commercial teams - understand planning, budgeting & forecasting needs.
- TM1 - Hands-on technical skills - combined with commercial acumen & ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
- Develop, enhance & maintain TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics - models, cubes, dimensions and hierarchies.
- Build & Optimise TI Processes & TM1 Rules - automate data loads, calculations and business logic.
- Own Technical Development across TM1 - ensuring high performance, scalability & best-practice model design.
- Integrate TM1 with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) & other data sources - ensure accurate, consistent data flow.
- Lead improvements to existing processes - proactively enhancing efficiency and reporting capability.
- Manage System issues - upgrades, configuration & vendor relationships (including IBM).
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements and support stakeholders with insights and decision-making.
- Maintain solid governance through documentation of models, processes and system changes.
- Deliver training, user guides and support knowledge-sharing across the TM1 community.
Technical Skills Required:
- TM1 - IBM Planning Analytics - Strong hands-on experience with Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting, TM1 Rules, feeders & performance optimisation / cube, dimension & hierarchy design.
- Building scalable, high-performance Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Models.
- End-to-end TM1 development lifecycle - upgrades, configuration & system administration.
- Integration experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) & other Enterprise data sources.
- Information Systems Concepts - Full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - Solid understanding.
- Designing & implementing data flows, automations & ETL processes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues - optimise model performance & enhance existing processes.
- Power BI - Exposure/experience of Power BI - data visualisation (training can be provided).
- Alteryx - Familiarity with Alteryx (desirable, not essential).
- Microsoft Office applications - Excel & PowerPoint, Word etc - documentation & reporting.
- Partnering with Finance, FP&A and Commercial teams - translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Stakeholder Engagement - ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
