Leading School is seeking to secure a 3rd Line - 2nd Line IT Support Engineer - the role is supported by an MSP. The role will support 100+ staff members & 100 students.
Technical Skills Required:
- 3 to 4 yearsβ experience as a 3rd Line - 2nd Line IT Support Engineer.
- Microsoft 365 Admin, SharePoint & MS Teams.
- Windows Server - knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, VMware etc.
- Networking - Troubleshooting Switches, Wireless A/P, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN - 2nd Line Support / Desirable to have Ubiquity or Cisco Meraki experience.
- Support of End User Devices - Windows, Laptop, Desktop, iPads & Tablets.
- Hardware & Software support - installation, configuration & deployment.
- Media Audio/Visual devices - i.e., Projectors & Interactive Displays etc.
- Security - Firewall, AV, Web Filters & Security Policies.
- VOIP Comms or Telephony support.
Desirable Experience:
- Apple MDM solutions - iPads, iPhones.
- ITIL Framework knowledge.
- Managing small IT Projects.
- Leading a junior IT Engineer.
Excellent communication skills, good organizational skills & a proactive approach.
Working Hours: Onsite Role - Term Time Hours - 8.30am - 5.30pm. During School Holiday Periods - 8:30am - 4:00pm - flexibility to work from home.
