The opportunity:
A global drinks brand with an amazing culture is looking for a Business Development Executive to grow sales within the Buckinghamshire / Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire area.
What will my key accountabilities be?
- Customer Management
- Building strong relationships with customers, developing mutually beneficial relationships, credibility & trust.
- Identifying business development opportunities & converting these into triple win plans & activations.
- Converting head office agreed plans within your customer base into actual activations whilst searching for additional opportunities to maximise impact.
- Execution
- Maximising the impact of commercial plans by using all appropriate levers.
- Agreeing and building feature space in prime locations in store/depot and secondary sites.
- Creating high exposure and impact of brands in line with promotional plans in accounts.
- Financial Management
- Managing your territory profit & loss (P&L) to ensure growth. Right product, right place, right consumer.
- Creating JBP's that are aligned to the commercial priorities and are in line with the key account teams' plans.
Who will I be working with?
- Your line manager and the key account teams.
- Customers from the Wholesale, Convenience and Out of Home Foodservice channels.
A great candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience of a sales environment is preferred although not essential.
- A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach.
- Financial numeracy and competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Motivation and ability to learn rapidly (new tasks, processes & ways of working).
- A basic understanding of the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) marketplace, its key players and projected market dynamics.
