Base salary: £45‑47.5k plus call‑out bonus.
Role
This is a key hire to lead the technical function across a growing wholesale business. You'll take ownership of how installs, servicing and reactive maintenance are delivered, bringing structure, consistency and a high standard of service across the board. It's a hands‑on leadership role, managing a small team while staying close to the day‑to‑day operation. You'll play a big part in shaping how the function evolves, improving processes and setting things up to scale as the wholesale side continues to grow. You'll work closely with wholesale and tech, balancing service quality with commercial performance and supporting the wider growth of the business.
What you'll do
- Lead the day‑to‑day running of the technical function across wholesale
- Oversee installs, servicing schedules and reactive maintenance, ensuring high service standards
- Manage and develop a junior team member, building a strong and accountable team culture
- Bring structure to scheduling, prioritisation and ways of working
- Support and participate in a weekly call‑out rota (with additional compensation)
- Oversee technical operations within the roastery and workshop
- Work cross‑functionally with operations and commercial teams to support wholesale growth
What we're looking for
- Experience leading or supervising a field‑based technical or service team
- Strong organisational skills, able to bring structure and improve processes
- Hands‑on technical background, ideally with electrical experience or similar
- Comfortable balancing being on the tools with managing a team
- Personable and service‑led, able to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Full UK driving licence (travel required)
