£50K + Benefits Package. Permanent. Clapham, London. Onsite - Monday to Friday - Term Time / Flexibility to work from home during school holidays.

Education Sector experience preferred. Must be eligible to work in the UK.

The IT Manager must have hands-on 2nd / 3rd Line Support experience & ideally Education Sector experience. Additional IT Support is provided by an external MSP which provides 3rd Line Support. Role will support 240 staff & 800 students. Will consider a Senior IT Engineer with Education Sector experience.

Skills Experience Required:

  • IT Manager / or / Senior IT Engineer - 3rd Line IT Engineer - Education Sector experience.
  • 2nd Line / 3rd Line IT Support experience - hands-on.
  • MS 365 Administration.
  • Windows 11/10.
  • Support of End User Devices - iPhone, iPads, Android & Tablets.
  • MDM - Intune, or similar MDM tool.
  • Apple, MAC - limited support required.
  • Audio/Visual Devices - i.e., Projectors & Interactive Displays etc.
  • Networks, Network Servers (DNS, DHCP, AD), Firewalls, Web Filter, VLANS, Switches & Router configuration - good knowledge & experience.
  • Hardware & Software support - installation, configuration & deployment.
  • Network Printers.
  • Security - Firewall, AV, Web Filters & Security Policies.
  • IP Telephony support.
  • iSAMS - desirable experience.
  • Leadership/mentoring - role will lead an IT Engineer - 1st/2nd Line Support.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills & proactive approach.

Working Hours: On-site - Term Time Hours - 8.00am - 5.00pm / During School Holidays - 8:00am - 4:30pm - some flexibility to work from home.
