Links Country Park Hotel is a busy, well-established hotel offering a popular main restaurant and a vibrant Sports Bar kitchen. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality food and consistent service standards to both hotel guests and local customers.

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of our busy main kitchen and Sports Bar operation. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong kitchen management experience, high standards, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing both the main kitchen and Sports Bar kitchen operations
  • Supervise and motivate the kitchen team
  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation standards
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
  • Support rota planning and labour control
  • Maintain full compliance with food safety and kitchen Health & Safety regulations
  • Step up to lead the kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence

Proven experience in a Sous Chef or senior CDP role within a busy kitchen:

  • Demonstrable kitchen management experience
  • Fully conversant with kitchen Health & Safety and food safety regulations (HACCP)
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends
  • You will work 5 days out of 7 – please note that this does include working weekends and evenings.
