We are currently recruiting for a Pre-construction Engineer to join our team in East Kilbride.
About the role
The Pre-construction Engineer is responsible for fulfilling the required deliverables for Pre Construction Projects.
The above will involve overseeing minor pre-construction projects and assisting the Pre-construction Senior Engineer in delivering other projects.
The individual fulfilling this role should have problem solving mindset, information finding and good communication skills.
Reporting to the Pre-construction Senior Engineer, the Pre-construction Engineer will maintain regular communication around the key aspects of Pre-construction and performance against programme.
The Pre-construction Engineer will support the Pre-construction Senior Engineer to ensure that deliverables are met for Pre-construction projects working collaboratively to clear goals and programme.
As the Pre-construction Engineer you will be based in our office in East Kilbride, where you will be required to make site visits to ascertain site specifics. You are expected to follow companies’ values, and behaviours at all times.
- Responsible for running multiple minor pre construction projects at any one time
- Provide weekly reports to the Pre-construction Senior Engineer and Pre-construction Team
- Work to a programme
- Ensure that all site forms and procedures are being followed with respect to H&S & Quality
- Ensure CPP, RAMS and other Health and Safety pre-con documents are site specific for each project.
- Produce other documentation/deliverables required for each Pre-construction Project as set out or directed by the Pre construction Senior Engineer
- Good communication skills to engage with clients, third party stakeholders, consultants and sub contractors

- Job specific knowledge & training i.e., confined space working, Temporary Works, water industry knowledge
- Basic understanding of Relevant IT Skills i.e., Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Project, Excel.
