We are currently working on behalf of a well-established design and build contractor that specialises in the delivery of high-quality commercial interiors, hospitality and catering fit-out projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site/Project Manager to oversee projects nationwide.

The Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing site operations from mobilisation through to completion. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, coordination of subcontractors and close collaboration with project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. This is a nationwide role, and candidates must be flexible with travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site activities across multiple fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site operatives.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget and specification.
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety in accordance with CDM regulations.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients and stakeholders to resolve site issues.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation including site diaries, RAMS and reports.
  • Monitor labour, materials and plant usage to maximise efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site/Project Manager within commercial fit-out or interior construction.
  • Commercial kitchen fit-out experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work nationwide.
