Join Our Incredible Team as a Relief Support Worker!
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? We\’re seeking caring, dedicated, and committed Relief Support Workers to join our friendly team in Bursledon. You\’ll work with six amazing people, aged 36 to 63, each with learning disabilities and their own unique personality. Whether it\’s *David\’s passion for Southampton FC and rock concerts or *Susan\’s love of Disney films, you\’ll enjoy getting to know their interests and supporting them in a way that\’s tailored to their needs.
We\’re looking for 2 Relief Support Workers, (1 day, 1 night) who are confident and hold a UK manual/automatic driving licence. You will support the people we care for and be available to cover day or night shifts as needed to support the permanent team.

About you
Of course we welcome you if you\’ve been a care assistant or support worker, but experience isn\’t necessary. If you share our values, are warm, friendly and willing to learn, you\’re likely to be a great fit.

You must be a driver with either a UK manual/Automatic licence and your own transport, as public transport links to our location aren\’t the most reliable.

Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
But it doesn\’t stop there – throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities – all free of charge.
