Join Our Team and Make Every Day Meaningful at MacIntyre! Helping people live glorious ordinary lives. At MacIntyre, we believe in fostering a culture where everyone has a voice and is listened to. We're seeking passionate individuals to help create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for those we support—people with multiple learning and physical disabilities, aged from their mid-twenties to mid-sixties.

As the Senior, you will develop rotas, complete supervisions and deputise for the Frontline Manager. You'll work closely with the staff team, encouraging, coaching and identifying training needs, whether formal or by way of day-to-day coaching and reflection. Your role will also be vital in assisting with daily activities, including medication support, intimate care, feeding (including via peg tube), and facilitating enjoyable leisure activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, dining out, and outings in our mini-bus. Our staff share mealtimes and cook delicious meals together, valuing the connections formed over shared experiences. Plus, our dedicated multi-disciplinary team, including registered nurses, is available around the clock to ensure the highest standard of care.

At MacIntyre, we are ambitious for ourselves and each other. Many of the individuals we support have limited verbal communication, which means you'll learn to recognize subtle non-verbal cues. Every small action you take can make a significant difference—rewarding you with smiles, laughter, and the joy of seeing someone relax or light up.

Position Details:

  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Shifts on a rota basis, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Join us at MacIntyre in our mission to create a supportive environment where friends, family, and neighbourhoods are valued. Together, let's make every day meaningful.
