We are a tight-knit team supporting six wonderful people with learning disabilities, aged 24 to 56, across three houses in Leicester. Each person brings their own personality, routines, and aspirations, making our time spent together truly meaningful. That’s where you come in – in this role, you’ll unlock opportunities for people to live a gloriously ordinary life on their own terms, staying connected with their families, friends, and communities, and exploring new experiences.
Responsibilities
- Mentor your team, provide proactive support, and be the go-to person for advice and encouragement.
- Lead with empathy and motivate your team to deliver their best every day.
- Ensure compliance while prioritising the health and happiness of those supported.
- Manage rota, finances, compliance, inspections, and other operational tasks.
- Create an environment where both your team and the people we support thrive.
- Support individuals with personalized care, such as assisting a young man with energy and music preferences or supporting someone like Sarah with her independence and style.
Requirements
- UK manual driving licence and willingness to drive adapted cars.
- Flexibility, organization, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Attention to detail and good Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to see the bigger picture and help develop the service further.

You will be compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting people to live fulfilling lives. Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
