Milton Keynes | Full Time | £24,509 per annum | Office based, with occasional travel to services

Good people start with a good recruitment process - and that's where you come in.

We're MacIntyre, a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live gloriously ordinary lives. Behind every great support team is a recruitment process that gets the right people through the door and that's what our Recruitment Officers do.

Based at our Milton Keynes head office, you'll work closely with managers across the country to help them recruit people who share our values and can make a real difference to the people we support. No two days are quite the same: one minute you're writing a job advert, the next you're screening a candidate or chasing a DBS check.

You don't need previous recruitment experience to apply full training and support will be given. What matters most is that you're a confident communicator, share our values, and are genuinely keen to learn.

What you'll be doing

  • Building strong working relationships with managers, mainly by phone and Teams, with occasional visits
  • Writing job adverts and managing vacancies from start to finish
  • Screening applications and carrying out initial telephone interviews
  • Booking and coordinating interviews with hiring managers
  • Completing pre-employment checks right to work, references and DBS accurately and on time
  • Supporting a values-based recruitment process that puts people first while keeping everything compliant
