As we approach our 60th year, we are ambitious about what comes next. We want to keep improving how we work, how we learn, and how we use systems and data to support colleagues to do their best work. To help us do this, we are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Learning Management System Data Coordinator to join our Learning and Development Team.
This role is 21 hours, 4 days a week. This is an important role at the heart of our learning systems and processes. You will help make sure our Learning Management System works well for colleagues across MacIntyre, supporting managers, administrators, tutors, assessors and internal quality assurance colleagues to use the system confidently and effectively.
You will work closely with the Learning Management Systems Lead and the wider Learning and Development Team to keep the system running smoothly, respond to queries, maintain accurate records and produce useful reports and management information. This is not just about administration. We are looking for someone who is curious about systems, confident using digital tools, and interested in how we can improve the experience for colleagues. You will help us think about data quality, reporting, user experience, system improvements and how learning information can better support managers and the wider organisation.
Day to day, you will:
- Support the effective administration and ongoing development of MacIntyre's Learning Management System
- Work with colleagues across MacIntyre to help them use the system confidently and efficiently
- Respond to and resolve queries through the LMS, Zoho helpdesk and related platforms
- Support the Learning and Development Team with accurate records, reports, data and management information
- Work with external system providers to support system configuration, site security and improvements
- Help maintain and update information across systems including Totara, OneFile, City & Guilds and relevant funding portals
- Support managers, area administrators and internal colleagues with learning and development activity
- Spot opportunities to improve processes, strengthen data quality and make systems easier to use
- Provide wider administrative and digital adoption support to the Learning and Development Team as required
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, calm under pressure and confident working with systems and data. You will enjoy solving problems, supporting others and making processes work well. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you will bring curiosity, accuracy and a willingness to keep learning. You will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and able to build strong relationships with colleagues across MacIntyre. Most importantly, you will reflect our DNA — honest, respectful, kind, compassionate and fun — and genuinely share MacIntyre's values and purpose.
About you:
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data and confidential information
- Good IT and digital skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Experience of using, administering or supporting digital systems, ideally including an LMS or similar platform
- A calm, helpful and professional approach to supporting colleagues and resolving queries
- The ability to produce accurate reports, records and management information
- A proactive approach to spotting improvements and making processes easier for others
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
You need to be a driver with business insurance. Experience of Learning Management Systems, OneFile, City & Guilds Walled Garden, Adult Social Care data platforms or funding portals would be helpful, but is not essential.
