In this role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our homes and learning environments, supporting the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of the people who draw on our support.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and other designated spaces
- Laundry duties
- Waste disposal
- General tidying
- Deep cleaning tasks
You will work as part of a respectful and supportive team, following cleaning schedules, infection prevention procedures, COSHH regulations, and health & safety guidance. You will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance, safety, safeguarding, or supply concerns to your line manager.
Qualities & Experience:
- Friendly, trustworthy, and reliable
- Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties
- A good communicator with basic IT skills
- Able to follow health & safety and infection control procedures
- Passionate about supporting others and working in line with MacIntyre's values
- Previous cleaning or care-sector experience preferred, but full training and ongoing support will be provided
