Hours: Term-time only, 38.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

Join MacIntyre School as a SEN Learning Support Assistant. We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team and make a lasting impact. You will work closely with students aged 10-19, supporting them 1:1 and in small groups, helping them to grow, learn, and navigate challenging behaviours in a safe and supportive environment.

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups, helping them manage behaviours and develop life skills.

Who are we?

MacIntyre School offers an innovative and challenging curriculum individually tailored to provide each student with the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes. Learning takes place throughout the waking day whether at school, in the residential houses or out in the community, where we provide an exciting range of off-site learning activities.

• Students can present with behaviour that is challenging - we will give you specialist training to help our students manage their behaviour.
• You will need to provide personal care.

Training and Development:

At MacIntyre, we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
