Are you someone who brings energy, warmth and resilience into the lives of others? Could you support people with a learning disability or epilepsy to live the life they choose? At MacIntyre, everything we do is person centred. You’ll be supporting five adults, each with their own personalities, goals and passions. No two days are the same — and that’s exactly how it should be.
From picnics in the sunshine to horse riding, swimming or a simple walk outdoors, you’ll help people enjoy the things that matter to them. At home, that might look like puzzles, flipping through magazines, or dancing around the living room to music (ABBA is a firm favourite!). But this role is about more than activities — it’s about enabling people to shape their own lives. You’ll support with everyday skills like cooking, cleaning and managing money, while also promoting health, wellbeing and independence.
Most importantly, you’ll be part of creating opportunities, building confidence and making each day meaningful. As a relief Support Worker, you’ll have the freedom to work shifts that fit around your life, while still being part of a supportive and passionate team delivering 24-hour support across the week. You don’t need previous experience — just the right values. We’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference — and enjoy what you do every day — we’d love to hear from you.
