Join us as a Deputy Manager at our supported living home in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, and help people with a learning disability live a life that makes sense to them. Working closely with the Frontline Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day leadership, supporting a skilled and passionate team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support. You'll champion MacIntyre's values, lead by example and help create an environment where both the people we support and your colleagues can thrive.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly across a 24-hour, 7-day rota, including weekends, bank holidays and participation in the local on-call rota.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll support the Frontline Manager with the smooth running of the home, ensuring that the people we support remain at the heart of everything we do. You'll work closely with people, their families and a range of internal and external professionals to ensure personalised support is delivered in a way that reflects each person's goals, aspirations and choices. You'll also play an important role in developing and supporting your team through coaching, mentoring and leading by example, helping to create a culture built on Great Interactions, learning and continuous improvement.

MacIntyre is a national charity which supports over 1,200 people with a learning disability and/or autism. Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job. But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.
