Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (1 Year from Appointment)

Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

Are you an organised, proactive, and compassionate administrator looking for your next step? Whether you are looking to bring your transferable skills from outside the sector or build on your existing administrative experience, this 1-year contract at our MacIntyre School and Children's Homes in Wingrave is an exciting opportunity to shine. We believe that a great admin keeps everything and everyone connected and you'll be right at the centre of a team that truly changes lives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reception duties: Welcoming guests and organising visitor passes, checking ID and ensuring onsite protocols are followed with warmth and professionalism.
  • DBS and SCR (Single Central Record) updates: Ensuring the necessary Ofsted regulations are complied with for all members of staff, contractors, Trustees and Governors.
  • Local Systems: Use of applications/programmes such as Teams, Excel and Clear Care.
  • Training Support: Keeping accurate records of staff training, booking courses and updating the Learning Management system.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Conducting local Health & Safety audits, and keeping safeguarding/complaints logs up to date.
  • Finance: Managing Yordex cards, expenditure forms, invoicing and service returns.
  • Team Support: Attending meetings to take and circulate clear minutes.

About you:

Skills & Experience: Strong IT confidence, great attention to detail, and a dependable approach to managing varied tasks. Prior administration experience is beneficial, but strong transferable organisational and communication skills from other sectors are just as welcome!

Requirements: Standard pre-employment checks will apply (including DBS and Right to Work checks). Due to our location, it would be helpful if you are a driver.
