At Macintyre No Limits, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a life that makes sense to them. Our programmes support young people aged 16–25 with learning disabilities and/or autism to develop independence, confidence, and real-life skills.
Working pattern: Term-time only – 39 weeks per year, Full-time: 38 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am – 4:36pm), Up to 3 weeks of training during school holidays.
About the role: As a Teaching Facilitator, you’ll work alongside young people to explore their interests, build independence, and develop practical life skills. Learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom — it happens in real places and everyday situations. You’ll support young people both from our Flackwell Heath base and out and about, helping students develop skills such as:
- Using public transport
- Managing money and shopping
- Building confidence in social situations
- Exploring interests, hobbies, and future opportunities
Following Macintyre’s person-centred approach, you’ll focus on what matters to each young person — recognising their strengths, celebrating achievements, and supporting them to take meaningful steps towards greater independence.
What we’re looking for: You don’t need previous experience in social care or education — what matters most is your values, enthusiasm, and belief in people’s potential. We’ll provide all the training and support you need. You will need:
- A UK manual driving licence
- GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A positive, creative and flexible approach
- A genuine passion for person-centred support

The salary range above is dependent upon whether someone has a teaching qualification, and the range is the actual term‑time rate for the job.
