Support Worker – Supported Living & Outreach | Milton Keynes At MacIntyre we believe everyone deserves a life that feels meaningful, connected and full of possibility. We’re looking for a compassionate, reliable and warm‑hearted support worker to join our small, friendly team in Milton Keynes, supporting six wonderful people with learning disabilities across both supported living and outreach services.

Working Hours

This role includes a mixture of supported living shifts, sleep‑ins and short outreach shifts, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and appreciates a structured but flexible working pattern. Weekday supported living shifts: 15:30 to 22:00, followed by a sleep‑in, then 07:30 to 09:30. Weekend shifts: 07:30 to 15:00 and 14:30 to 22:00. Short outreach shifts: 09:00 to 12:00 or 16:00 to 20:00. Part‑time hours up to 30 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients with daily routines, health and well‑being, and tenancy responsibilities.
  • Assist with cooking, meal planning, and nutrition.
  • Plan and accompany clients on outings, including bowling trips, pub visits, shopping, holidays, and social events.
  • Provide emotional support and facilitate opportunities for independence and connection.
  • Work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
