Science Technician (Rushcliffe Spencer Academy) – MacIntyre Academies
Rushcliffe Spencer Academy is an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive school located in West Bridgford, Nottingham. It is part of the Spencer Academies Trust and focuses on delivering high-quality teaching, learning and development opportunities for staff and students.
The successful candidate will join our specialist science technician team, providing support to the science department to enable engaging and effective learning experiences for students aged 11-19. Experience of working in a laboratory setting and/or in an educational institution would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical and technical support to the science department across all three sciences.
- Assist with preparation of materials, equipment setup, and safe management of laboratory resources.
- Support health and safety procedures in laboratories and ensure compliance with Trust safeguarding and safety policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working in a laboratory setting and/or in an educational institution is desirable.
